Laura Groschen

Laura is joining Acadia with more than 25 years of experience leading large IT organizations through change and driving digital transformation in partnership with the business. Most recently, Laura served as the Business Unit CIO at Medtronic, a $30B global healthcare solutions company. She created and led a high-performing and highly diverse team supporting information and technology for all twenty Operating Units and all Global Functions across Medtronic’s 150 countries, focused on optimizing business outcomes through strategic technology investments. She led mergers, acquisitions, and divestitures for IT. In addition, she created the overarching role and discipline of Product Security.
Prior to Medtronic, Laura was a Business Unit CIO for United Health Group where she created and led a new $4B annual revenue commercial technology practice serving Federal and State Governments in understanding and implementing processes and technology solutions in support of the Affordable Care Act. She testified, on behalf of her clients, in front of several Legislative Committees. Earlier in her career, Laura served as Senior Vice President at Wells Fargo & Company, where she held several executive leadership roles in a combination of business leadership and IT roles.
